Apple has opened up avenues for earning money online when they introduced their iPhone to the world. If you can develop iPhone programs and publish them in the App Store you will be able to earn some extra money. If you can publish interesting app then millions of people will be able to see the details of your app and if required will purchase it. People will buy your app because your app will be considered genuine being approved by Apple to be sold in their store. This is a sure way of making money online.
In order to be in the App’s approval list, you need to join iPhone Developers Program in their website. After you have joined the program you can develop your own apps with the help of Apple’s platform and after approval publish them via app store.
In order to register yourself in iPhone Developers Program you need to go to Developer Connection and choose ‘Enroll Now’. The next screen that appears will give you two options to choose from; one is Standard program and the other is Executive program. You select the Standard program because Executive program is for big business houses. For joining the program there is an annual fee of $99 for the Standard program.
After you have selected the program type you will be required to create an Apple ID. The screen will ask whether you have any existing Developer account. You click on the radio button that indicate that you do not and then click on ‘continue’.
In the next screen you need to create a user name with a password. The format that is presented to you has to be inputted with your contact data, password and a security question for password recovery.
The next screen will provide you with a format which has to be filled with your profile by selecting from multiple choices. After completing the form, you select the ‘continue’ icon. At this stage Apple will mail a verification code to your email address.
You have to use this verification code and input it in the Apple website and thereafter just follow the onscreen promptings till you reach the screen where payment screen appears. You have to make the payment through your credit card by putting your card number in the form provided and click on ‘continue’. After the payment has been cleared, you will be prompted to download the iPhone Software Developers Kit.
Thereafter install the program on your desktop via the .exe file. After the kit is launched you can start using it to program your App. iPhone uses OSX platform, similar to C and its base programming language is Coacoa.
After you have created your app submit it to Apple for approval. You will have to supply all information regarding your app for the browser to see and understand. After it is published you can start marketing your app and make money.
